Camp **** in the blue mountains part 2

Well I am back!!! and here ladies and gents is part 2 of my camp experience.

Saturday:

Saturday began for me at the early hour of 6am. Now you know how guys sleep like rocks even through alarms? Me being an early riser never believed that rumour, until now. I asked the guys in my cabin if I could set my alarm for 6am and they said it was fine. Now my alarm is one of the loudest alarms you will ever hear, these guys slept through it no problems!!!! I got up and had a shower etc. (oh and i put on some cologne lol)
I then headed up to the hall, on my way I ran into Marina (take note: she is the first person to ever wake up earlier than me lol)

Then I played guitar for about an hour and a half lol. At about 6:30am a few of the girls came up and did a 45 minute yoga class, now that was funny! I stopped playing guitar to listen to what they were saying, lol stuff along the lines of " now, imagine you are in a field of sun flowers. Now you will center all the yellow of the flowers into your inner being. I magine you are standing under a large waterfall" lol I almost wet myself laughing!

The day continued with breakfast, group sessions about what to expect from exchange etc. and breaks (and more food lol) Everyone became very good friends.

It got to the end of the day and it was time to leave, lots of hugs and goodbyes. Getting home was an adventure!!! As we got to the train station it started pelting massive droplets of rain!. We were also greeted by a sign telling us that trackworks were being done on the weekend so we were going to have to disembark from our train at another station and catch a bus to central station.

We waited at the station for our train which was running 20 minutes late. As we waited it rained sheets of water non-stop for 1/2 an hour and hailed non-stop for 15 minutes and they were massive pieces of hail.
Train and bus trip were nice, we chatted and slept lol (caroline was really tired) it took us 2 hours but was nice, a light sprinkle of rain continued as we made the long trip home.

Morgan and I spent a few hours running around the city trying to find food before we got our bus home. We could not find anywhere to eat! it was Sydney city on a saturday night and there was nowhere to eat (any people looking to start up a reasonably priced cafe in the city that is open good hours, this is your chance)
We finally found food after walking from central station to wynyard station (for those not good on geography this is a really long way lol) we finally had a nice dinner, got hassled by a homeless person for money and caught the bus home.

well that about wraps it up, this may have sounded long winded ( so good on you for reading lol) camps are the sort of thing that you have to have been there to enjoy so I hope I portrayed it well.

Camp **** in the mountains

Well ladies and gents it time for another "pre-departure camp" update!!!!

Let me start by saying, I can not get enough of these camps I think I almost wet myself laughing we have so much fun!!! lol

Friday:

Well Friday was an absolute ball. I went into head office in Sydney, to fill in my visa forms. While I was there I ran into Marina who would be a co-runner of the camp. Me and Marina struck it off instantly and had a really good chat (you know one of those chats where you are continually laughing and very interested in the conversation) as we walked to central station to meet all the other students.

As we got to central old friends were re-united and new friendships made as we boarded the train for a 2 hour ride. We took lots of photos (which will be posted) and had the funniest conversations (yes wet your pants material style conversations)

We Finally made it to our destination in the Blue Mountains, very hungry and very thirsty!! So we went and claimed what was rightfully ours, KEBABS! from the kebab store.

we then Pressed on to our camp. Now I must say that our camp has to be the cleanest, friendliest, oh and don't forget best camp food I have ever seen/eaten!!!! We all got our bunks setup and then went back to the hall to chill out and get to know each other, me I socialise alot and played alot of guitar! in the end I ended doing a mini concert for the whole camp lol. We went our seperate ways to sleep. The boys went to sleep straight away, I was really bored, what I wouldn't have given to be able to sit in the girls cabin talking with them unti l3 in the morning!!!!!

well thats friday summed up next entry will be saturday.

"whats that slight tingling in my stomach? lol oh thats just something called being nervous!"

hello everyone!!!!!

Well its been a while since I've put an entry into my Blog. At the moment it's like everything is happening but nothing is happening lol (if that makes any sense). The things that have been happening have been fairly crucial so I guess thats something!

Well let me start off with this very forward statement, "I"M FEELING NERVOUS MAN!!!!!!!"
Not so much that it's only a month and a half until I leave but more the fact that other students have been getting host families while I am sitting here sort of going (feeling very small, with a meek voice) "eeep, what about me?" (selfish I know, but hey we are talking about my life here)

To be honest it's not that I am worried that I'm not going to get a Host family, but more I feel like I'm missing out on the fun lol. I think it is sort of cool if I don't have a family by the time I get to Japan because it will makes things more interesting (and give me cooler stories to tell you!!!)

So, now that my major "oh dear diary" cry is out of the way heres what else is happening:

It was my Birthday recently !!!!

My Visa is about to be put through (and I am positive it won't be rejected, I mean come on with a gaurantor like AFS behind it theres no way they can reject it!!! , well sort of)

Oh and on a minor note, I have my pre-departure camp this weekend!!! lol so more stories (don't know if they will be as juicy as last camp) are coming in the next week. So stay put

Jieshi
